abstract = {The present paper aims at defining Victor Frankel's viewpoint on the answers to the following questions in terms of his basic principles of existential philosophy and (existential) psychology: what is man's essence? What are his genuine spiritual needs? According to Frankel, man's essence consists of body, mind, and spirit, the core of which is spirit, and utter patina being body and mind. The essential elements of man's spiritual realm are composed of spirituality, freedom, and responsibility; and talking about man's essence will be meaningless, deficient, and incomplete, if these elements are not considered. He explains man's most important spiritual needs in order to answer the second question, and categorizes them into six different needs: needs to the dynamism of thought, meaning, self-transcendence, eternity and immortality, religion, and gregariousness of emotion.},

abstract_fa ={این نوشتار با توجه به مبانی فلسفه وجودی و روان شناسی وجودی ویکتور فرانکل به تبیین دیدگاه وی در پاسخ به دو مسئله: 1. ماهیت انسان چیست؟ 2. نیازهای اصیل روحی انسان چیست؟ می پردازد. فرانکل ماهیت انسان را متشکل از سه بعد جسم، روان و روح می داند که هسته مرکزی آن، روح و پوشش رویی آن، تن و روان است. عناصر اصلی ساحت روحانی انسان، ترکیبی است از معنویت، آزادی و مسئولیت که بدون در نظر گرفتن این عناصر، سخن گفتن از ماهیت انسان سخنی ناتمام و بی فرجام است. در پاسخ به سؤال دوم به تبیین مهم ترین نیازهای بخش روحانی انسان پرداخته و آنها را در قالب شش نیاز: نیاز به پویایی اندیشه، نیاز به معنا، نیاز به تعالی خویشتن، نیاز به ابدیت و جاودانگی، نیاز به دین و نیاز به گروه دوستی عاطفی طبقه بندی می کند.},
