abstract = {The present research aims at investigating the relationship of parents’ religiosity with high school boys’ violence. In this survey a questionnaire was submitied to 385 high school students from Yazd who were selected through multi-stage cluster sampling and asked to fill out this questionnaire. 
The research findings show that there is a negative and significant relationship between the parents’ religiosity and their children’s violence, that is, the more religious the parents, the less violence. In the case of the degree of  father’s religiosity, this correlation seems more significant. Therefore, promoting and strengthening parents’ religious beliefs can have an influential role in decreasing deviant behavior including violence.

abstract_fa ={پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی رابطه بین دین داری والدین با خشونت فرزندان پسر دبیرستانی انجام شده است. این پیمایش با استفاده از ابزار پرسش نامه روی 385 نفر از دانش آموزان پسر دبیرستان­های شهر یزد که با روش خوشه­ای چند مرحله­ای انتخاب شده اند، صورت یافته است.
همان طور که نتایج نشان داده است، بین دین داری والدین و خشونت فرزندان رابطه منفی و معناداری وجود داشته و هر چه دین داری والدین بالاتر رفته، خشونت فرزندان کاهش یافته است. میزان این همبستگی در مورد رابطه دین داری پدر با خشونت فرزند معنادارتر بوده است. بنابراین، تقویت باورهای دینی در والدین می تواند نقش مؤثری در کاهش رفتارهای انحرافی، چون خشونت ایفا کند.},
