Knowing these functions is scientifically significant thus they sometimes remain unknown even to the inventers of these entertainments themselves. Another point is the influential conditions on the desirability or undesirability of these functions. Taking account of Islamic considerations can guide us in solving these issues. In this course, the following research aims to identify the psychological functions of entertainment and their desirability from the Islamic perspective through a descriptive-analytical method. The research has identified some of the psychological functions of entertainment including: joy and amusement, learning and education, self-fulfillment and self-transcendence, emotional catharsis, thrill-seeking and excitement, rejuvenation and tranquility, getting rid of problems, satisfying idealistic desires, oblivion and adaptation, psychotherapy, self-discovery, and substitutability. In today's world, these functions are often realized in undesirable ways. From the Islamic perspective, for these functions to be desirable, certain considerations are necessary, such as ensuring that the entertainment is lawful and lead not to outcomes such as neglecting wanted issues and man's other duties, ostentation, sudden and thoughtless behavior, addiction to entertainment, creating false needs (such as fashenism), cultural homogenization, attacking the Islamic culture, and dominance by tyrants (economic, cultural, and political). سرگرمی‌های مدرن از مفاهیم نوظهور در عصر حاضرند که اثرات و کارکردهای متعددی، ازجمله کارکردهای روان‌شناختی، دارند. شناخت این کارکردها خود از لحاظ علمی دارای اهمیت خاصی است؛ به‌طوری‌که گاه این کارکردها برای سازندگان خودِ این سرگرمی‌ها نیز مجهول و ناشناخته است. نکته‌ی دیگر، شرایط تأثیرگذار در مطلوب بودن یا نبودن این کارکردهاست. توجه به ملاحظات اسلامی می‌تواند در حل این مسائل راهگشا باشد. در همین راستا، پژوهش پیش‌رو با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی در پی یافتن کارکردهای روان‌شناختی سرگرمی و شرایط مطلوبیت آنها از دیدگاه اسلامی است. در این پژوهش مشخص شد که برخی از کارکردهای روان‌شناختی سرگرمی عبارت‌اند از: شادی و تفریح؛ یادگیری و آموزش؛ خودشکوفایی و تعالی‌یابی؛ تخلیه‌ی هیجانات؛ هیجان‌خواهی و برانگیختگی؛ تجدید قوا و آرمیدگی؛ رهایی‌یابی از مشکلات؛ ارضای حس آرمان‌خواهی؛ غفلت‌زایی و سازگاری؛ روان‌درمانی؛ خودیابی و جانشین‌پذیری. در دنیای امروز، غالباً این کارکردها به‌صورت نامطلوب محقق می‌شوند. از منظر اسلامی برای اینکه این کارکردها مطلوب باشند، برخی ملاحظات لازم است؛ ازجمله اینکه: سرگرمی حلال باشد و به نتایجی چون غفلت از امور مطلوب و وظایف دیگر انسان، فخرفروشی، رفتار ناگهانی و فاقد دوراندیشی، اعتیاد به سرگرمی، ایجاد نیاز کاذب (مانند مدگرایی)، یکسان‌سازی فرهنگی، تهاجم به فرهنگ اسلامی و سلطه‌ی (اقتصادی، فرهنگی و سیاسی) طاغوتیان منجر نشود. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2020692-1710757329.pdf
