The research is based on content analysis and psychological study of Islamic texts. The first approach to satisfaction lays emphasis on pleasure and avoiding pain. Then, another approach which based on happiness, cognition, and internal virtues came and replaced the first one and underlined its defects. The research findings show that Islam considers that the theoretical basis of satisfaction is "to believe in good" which is, on one hand, founded on the theological fact that all affairs are determined through divine "providence" and all that God determines is "good", and which, on the other hand, depends on human behavior. That is if man believes in this theological fact, he will attain satisfaction. Accordingly, people's belief in the good effect of divine providence contributes to the attainment of satisfaction. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی پایه‌ی نظری رضامندی از دیدگاه اسلام است. در این بررسی، از روش تحلیل محتوا و فهم روان شناختی متون اسلامی استفاده شده است. رویکرد نخست روان شناسی به رضامندی، بر پایه‌ی لذت و پرهیز از درد بوده است. سپس با آشکار شدن نقاط ضعف آن، رویکرد مبتنی بر سعادت، شناخت و فضایل درونی، جای گزین آن شد. یافته‌ی این بررسی نشان می دهد که پایه‌ی نظری رضامندی از دیدگاه اسلام، «خیرباوری» است. این، از سویی مبتنی بر این واقعیت خداشناختی است که همه‌ی امور به «تقدیر» خداوند رقم می خورد و همه‌ی تقدیرهای او «خیر» است؛ و از سوی دیگر، مبتنی بر این رفتار انسانی است که اگر انسان به آن واقعیت خداشناختی باور پیدا کند، به رضامندی دست خواهد یافت. نتیجه اینکه برای رسیدن به رضامندی، باید باور به خیر بودن تقدیر را به وجود آورد. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6_12.pdf
