It is a causative- correlational or ex post facto research. The statistical universe included the male and female students of Shahid Chamran University-Ahwaz, from whom 186 students (93 male and 93 female students) were chosen through stratified random sampling. The measurement tools used in this research include Kraskian Mojembari's religious identity questionnaire, Goldberg's general health questionnaire, and Scheier and Carver's life orientation questionnaire with acceptable validities and reliabilities. Spearman correlation test and multivariate regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses. The research findings show that there is a significant relationship between religious identity, optimism and mental health. Furthermore, the results of multiple regression analysis show that religious identity plays a major role in explaining and predicting mental health. این پژوهش، با هدف بررسی رابطه ساده و چندگانه بین هویت دینی، سلامت روان و خوش بینی در دانشجویان دانشگاه شهید چمران اهواز انجام شده است. طرح پژوهشی از نوع علّی همبستگی یا پس رویدادی است. جامعه‌ی آماری، شامل کلیه دانشجویان پسر و دختر دانشگاه شهید چمران اهواز بود که 186 نفر (93 پسر و 93 دختر) به عنوان جامعه نمونه به صورت تصادفی طبقه ای انتخاب گردید. ابزار مورداستفاده پژوهش ، پرسش نامه هویت دینی کراسکیان موجمباری ، پرسش نامه سلامت عمومی گلدبرگ و پرسش نامه جهت گیری به زندگی شیرو کارور، با روایی و پایایی قابل قبول بوده است. برای آزمون فرضیه ها، از آزمون همبستگی اسپیرمن و تحلیل رگرسیون چندمتغیری استفاده شد. نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که بین هویت دینی و خوش بینی با سلامت روان رابطه معناداری وجود دارد. همچنین نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه نشان داده است که هویت دینی بیشترین سهم را در تبیین و پیش بینی سلامت روان داشته است. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6_13.pdf
