Here, after introducing the writer of the book, the title of the chapters and a summary of the book content are presented. Then, some critical points on the third part of the book and the writer's success in achieving his alleged goal are stated. In the end, a list of other works by the same writer is presented. The contents of the book are as follows: the first part presents a framework for comparing different theories; the second part deals with secular theories; the third part claims to present the theories having their roots in the doctrines of the religions; and the forth part forms some final considerations by the writer. اين نوشته، به معرفى و نقدى خلاصه از كتاب نظريه‏هاى سكولار و مذهبى در رشد اخلاقى پرداخته است. در اين نوشته، پس از معرفى نويسنده كتاب، فصل‏بندى و خلاصه محتواى كتاب ارائه مى‏شود. سپس نكاتى نقدگونه درباره محتواى بخش سوم كتاب و توفيق نويسنده در دست‏يابى به هدفى كه مدعى آن است بيان مى‏گردد. در پايان، فهرستى از ديگر آثار همين نويسنده ارائه خواهد شد. محتواى بخش‏هاى كتاب چنين است: بخش اول، چارچوبى براى مقايسه نظريه‏ها ارائه مى‏كند؛ بخش دوم، به نظريه‏هاى سكولار مى‏پردازد؛ بخش سوم، مدعى ارائه نظريه‏هاى نهفته در آموزه‏هاى اديان است و بخش چهارم، تأملات پايانى نويسنده را تشكيل مى‏دهد.
