To this end, using a theoretical analytical method and resting on Islamic sources, this paper reviews the position of wealth and beauty in the choice of marriage partner. Then, the relationship between the variables in the research is investigated and predicted by using a descriptive correlation-regression method. In the academic year 91-92, 273 teachers were chosen from among 750 teachers in Qom through stratified cluster sampling. Jadiri and Janbozorgy questionnnare on marital satisfaction and researcher-developed inventory on spouse selection criteria were used for the assessment. T-test and correlation test as well as SPSS21 software were used for analyzing the data. The results show that in Islam, wealth and beauty are taken into account in the choice of marriage partner, but faith, morality and having offspring have priority in this regard and that there is no relationship between marital satisfaction and giving priority to wealth and beauty in the first six years of spouses married life) p> 0/5(. این پژوهش، درصدد بررسی نگاه اسلام به دو مقوله ثروت و زیبایی در انتخاب همسر و ارتباط آنها با رضامندی زناشویی است. بدین منظور، جایگاه ثروت و زیبایی میان ملاک های انتخاب همسر از دیدگاه منابع اسلامی، با روش نظری- تحلیلی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. سپس، به بررسی و پیش بینی رابطه متغیرهای پژوهش، به شیوه توصیفی از نوع همبستگی - رگرسیون پرداخته شد. بدین منظور، 273 نفر از میان 750 معلم شهرستان قم در سال تحصیلی 91-92، به روش ترکیبی خوشه ای- طبقه ای انتخاب شده اند و برای سنجش از پرسش نامه رضامندی زناشویی جدیری و جان بزرگی و سیاهه معیارهای انتخاب همسر (محقق ساخته) استفاده شد. برای محاسبات نیز آزمونt  و آزمون همبستگی به کمک نرم افزار SPSS21 انجام شد. یافته ها نشان داد که دین اسلام به ثروت و زیبایی در انتخاب همسر توجه دارد، ولی ایمان، اخلاق و فرزندآوری در این زمینه از اولویت برخوردارند. همچنین ارتباطی میان اولویت  دادن به ثروت و زیبایی و رضامندی زناشویی در شش سال اول زندگی وجود ندارد (05p>/ ). https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_20.pdf
