For this purpose, 967 male and female students (317 elementary school students, 320 junior high school students, and 330 senior high school students) in Shiraz city and 444 students (142 boys and 302 girls) at Shiraz University, a total of 1411 participants, were selected using cluster random sampling. Students responded to the Child and Adolescent Patience Scale and college students responded to the Adult Patience Scale. Multivariate analysis of variance was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant difference in the total patience score and some of its components between girls and boys at different ages. In elementary school, girls' average scores for total patience and the components of perseverance, hesitation, and satisfaction were higher than boys'. In junior high school students, the average score of total patience and the components of perseverance, hesitation, and transcendence was higher in boys than in girls. Among high school students, the average score for total patience and the components of perseverance and patience was higher in boys than in girls. There was no significant difference in the total patience score among students, but in the components of transcendence and hesitation, the average score of girls was higher than that of boys, and in the satisfaction component, the average score of boys was higher than that of girls. The theoretical implications of this study are that different profiles of gender differences in patience and its components can be observed at different age periods. پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسایی تفاوت‌های جنسیتی در صبر و مؤلفه‌های آن انجام شده است. بدین منظور 967 دانش‌آموز دختر و پسر (317 نفر مقطع ابتدایی، 320 نفر مقطع متوسطۀ اول و 330 نفر مقطع متوسطۀ دوم) شهر شیراز و 444 دانشجو (142 پسر و 302 دختر) دانشگاه شیراز و در مجموع 1411 مشارکت‌کننده به روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی خوشه‌ای انتخاب شدند و دانش‌آموزان به مقیاس صبر کودک و نوجوان و دانشجویان به مقیاس صبر بزرگ‌سالان پاسخ دادند. برای تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل داده‌ها از روش تحلیل واریانس چند متغیره استفاده گردید. نتایج نشان داد که در سنین مختلف تفاوت معنی‌داری در نمرۀ کل صبر و برخی مؤلفه‌های آن بین دختران و پسران وجود دارد. در مقطع ابتدایی میانگین دختران در نمرۀ کل صبر و مؤلفه‌های استقامت، درنگ و رضایت بالاتر از پسران بود. در دانش‌آموزان مقطع متوسطۀ اول میانگین نمرۀ کل صبر و مؤلفه‌های استقامت، درنگ و متعالی شدن در پسران بیش از دختران بود. در دانش‌آموزان مقطع متوسطۀ دوم نیز میانگین نمرۀ کل صبر و مؤلفه‌های استقامت و شکیبایی در پسران بیشتر از دختران بود. در دانشجویان نیز از لحاظ نمرۀ کل صبر تفاوت معنی‌داری مشاهده نشد، اما در مؤلفه‌های متعالی شدن و درنگ میانگین نمرۀ دختران بیشتر از پسران و در مؤلفۀ رضایت میانگین نمرۀ پسران بیشتر از دختران بوده است. تلویحات نظری این پژوهش آن است که نیم‌رخ‌های متفاوتی از تفاوت‌های جنسیتی در صبر و مؤلفه‌های آن در دوره‌های مختلف سنی می‌توان مشاهده نمود. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5001414-1759231517.pdf
