The present study aimed to examine marital infidelity based on Islamic sources and to predict the tendency toward it, based on the role of spouses and marital satisfaction. The statistical population of the study included married men and women in Tehran, from which a sample of 111 individuals was selected using convenience sampling. The data collection tools were Islamic scales of tendency toward infidelity and the role of spouses, as well as a marital satisfaction scale. Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The findings showed that the higher the quality of spousal roles and the level of marital satisfaction, the lower the tendency toward infidelity. The results of regression analysis also indicated that the role of spouses and marital satisfaction could predict the tendency toward infidelity. Comparisons of means also showed that the tendency toward infidelity was higher in men than in women. The results of this study emphasize strengthening religious teachings related to the consolidation of family roles and the importance of the quality of marital interactions in reducing the tendency toward infidelity." از مهم‌ترین تهدیدهایی که بنیان خانواده را متزلزل می‌کند، پیمان‌شکنی در زناشویی است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی پیمان‌‌شکنی زناشویی بر اساس منابع اسلامی و پیش‌بینی گرایش به آن بر اساس نقش همسران و رضایت زناشویی انجام شد. جامعة آماری پژوهش شامل زنان و مردان متأهل شهر تهران بود که نمونه‌ای به حجم ۱۱۱ نفر با روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها، مقیاس‌های اسلامی گرایش به پیمان‌شکنی و نقش همسران، و مقیاس رضایت زناشویی بود. برای تحلیل داده‌ها از ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون گام‌به‌گام استفاده گردید. یافته‌ها نشان داد هرچه کیفیت نقش همسران و سطح رضایت زناشویی بالاتر باشد، گرایش به پیمان‌شکنی کاهش می‌یابد. نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون نیز بیانگر آن بود که نقش همسران و رضایت زناشویی توان پیش‌بینی‌ گرایش به پیمان‌شکنی را دارند. مقایسة میانگین‌ها نیز نشان داد گرایش به پیمان‌شکنی در مردان بیشتر از زنان است. نتایج این پژوهش بر تقویت آموزه‌های دینی مرتبط با تحکیم نقش‌های خانوادگی و اهمیت کیفیت تعاملات زناشویی در کاهش گرایش به پیمان‌شکنی تأکید دارد. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5002795-1787632329.pdf
