The researcher is seeking to investigate demographic factors by testing purposefulness in life (based on Islam). The statistical population was composed of BA students in Payam-e Nur University of Qom as well as BA students in Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute and Female students in seminary of Qom in 1387-8. 404 subjects were selected through random sampling as the sample group (207 university students and 197 seminary students). The results showed a meaningful difference between average scores of the university and seminary students. The variance and standard deviation of university students was however higher. There was no meaningful difference between the average scores of singles and married students or between males and females. در این پژوهش، رابطه هدف مندی در زندگی ـ با تکیه بر اسلام ـ با عوامل جمعیت شناختی گروه نمونه دانشگاهی و حوزوی، جنس، وضعیت تأهل بررسی می شود. محقق بر آن است تا با آزمون هدف در زندگی، با تکیه بر اسلام، به بررسی عوامل جمعیت شناختی بپردازد. جامعه‌ی آماری این پژوهش، دانشجویان دوره‌ی لیسانس دانشگاه پیام نور قم، دانش پژوهان دوره‌ی لیسانس مؤسسه آموزشی و پژوهشی امام خمینی€، و حوزه علمیه خواهران  قم هستند که در سال 87ـ1388 مشغول تحصیل بوده اند. حجم گروه نمونه، به روش نمونه برداری تصادفی طبقه ای و به تعداد 404 نفر انتخاب شد (207 نفر دانشگاهی و 197 نفر حوزوی). نتایج پژوهش نشان می دهد که بین میانگین نمرات گروه دانشگاهی و حوزوی تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد، ولی واریانس و انحراف استاندارد دانشگاه بیشتر است. بین میانگین نمرات مجردها و متأهلان و زنان و مردان، تفاوت معناداری وجود نداشت. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1332.pdf
