The sample group was a randomly selected group of 50 people who were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. To collect the data ,Miller’s hopefulness questionaire was used whose coefficient of reliability was measured according to Coronbach α (r =0.91).To analyze the results of the test the researcher used a statistical method called analysis of covariance (of one variable). The significant level α =0.05 was taken into account in order to establish the research hypothesis. Findings of the research show that positive thinking together with what the Qur’an emphasizes on in this regard has brought about an increase in hope for life for the widows living in Ahwaz and the effect of teaching positive thinking ,taking into account the results of the follow-up test, was of necessary stability. پژوهش حاضر به بررسی اثربخشی آموزش مثبت نگری در افزایش امید به زندگی زنان بدون همسر شهر اهواز پرداخته است. نمونه آماری پژوهش 50 نفر بود که به روش تصادفی خوشه ای و تصادفی ساده انتخاب شده و به دو گروه آزمایش و شاهد تقسیم گردید. برای گردآوری داده ها، از پرسش نامه امیدواری میلر استفاده شد که ضریب پایایی آن به شیوه‌ی آلفای کرونباخ (91/ 0 r=) محاسبه گردید. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده های آزمون، از روش آماری تحلیل کواریانس یک متغیر استفاده گردید. سطح معناداری برای تأیید فرضیه‌ی پژوهش 05/0=α در نظر گرفته شد. یافته های پژوهش نشان دهد که، کاربرد مثبت نگری با تأکید بر آیات قرآن بر افزایش امید به زندگی زنان بدون همسر شهر اهواز مؤثر بوده(0001/0 P=) و تأثیر آموزش مورد نظر، با توجه به نتایج آزمون پیگیری، از ثبات لازم برخوردار بوده است. https://ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/sites/ravanshenasi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/4_16.pdf
