In fact, individuals scoring higher on the intrinsic religious orientation subscale have a more positive attitude toward Hijab whereas the relationship is negative in the case of extrinsic religious orientation. Furthermore, individuals with internal religious orientation are characterized by higher levels of self-control compared with individuals with extrinsic religious orientation. Overall, it is concluded that only internal religious orientation leads to a positive attitude toward Hijab and self-control among students.
