The purpose of this research is to study the effectiveness of teaching Islamic marital ethics on the couples' marital satisfaction. This research is a "single-subject" research with a multiple baseline design and a one-month follow-up. The statistical population is all the married people who referred to the counseling center of Islamic Seminary of Qom between April 2020 and August 2019 after they saw the announcements. The sampling method is "purposive". Among the twelve couples who referred, we selected three of them who met the criteria for entering the plan based on the "marital satisfaction" questionnaire, mental disorders checklist and clinical interview. The participants responded to the "marital satisfaction" questionnaire at the three steps: the baseline, after seven trial sessions and one month after the trial. The data is analyzed by chart analysis, intra-site and inter-site visual analysis, baseline mean reduction (MBLR3), percentage of non-overlapping data (PND), percentage of all non-overlapping data (PAND) and improvement rate difference (IRD). According to the results of this research, training Islamic marital ethics significantly increases marital satisfaction in the participants at the end of the course and the follow-up. Therefore, we can claim that teaching Islamic marital ethics is effective in increasing the marital satisfaction of spouses.
