Family is a purposeful and coherent system in which each member has a special position and role. Islam has attached great importance to motherhood. One of the main duties of a mother is to take steps for the flourish of her children. To show good behavior, a mother needs a suitable role model. The purpose of this research is to examine the role of mother in the Fatimi teachings according to Seligman's "flourish" theory. The research method is qualitative directed content analysis. The steps include: 1) studying the basics and main concepts of the theory of flourish; 2) investigating the constructs and main concepts of the flourish theory in the selected texts; 3) classifying the basic concepts in the Fatimi teachings and 4) examining and explaining each of the selected categories and flourish constructs with the basic concepts of the Fatimi teachings. The research results indicate that the Fatimi life style includes a constructive relationship with children, which facilitates the flourish of children and can be considered as a good example to follow. Also, paying attention to the flourish of children based on lady Fatimah's life will lead to the realization of children’s complete growth and flourish.
