    The Role of Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence in the Academic Performance of Student Teachers of Farhangian University of Yazd, with the Mediation of Religious Beliefs and Mental Health

    Abstract: 
    The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in the academic performance of student teachers with the mediation of religious beliefs and mental health. In this "descriptive-correlational" research, 326 student teachers (147 girls and 177 boys) were selected using "availability sampling" method and answered a questionnaire consisting of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, practice of religious beliefs and mental health scales. The academic performance of student teachers was also measured based on the average grades of their courses. The findings of structural equation modeling show that spiritual intelligence positively and meaningfully predicts academic performance. In addition, the mediating role of religious beliefs and mental health in the relationship of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with academic performance was confirmed. Therefore, it can be concluded that by improving emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, religious beliefs and mental health, the academic performance of student teachers can be improved.

    Abstract: 
    هدف از این پژوهش بررسی نقش هوش هیجانی و هوش معنوی در عملکرد تحصیلی دانشجومعلمان با واسطه گری عمل به اعتقادات مذهبی و سلامت روان است. در این پژوهش «توصیفی ـ همبستگی» 326 دانشجومعلم (147 دختر و 177 پسر) به روش «نمونه گیری در دسترس» انتخاب شدند و به پرسشنامه ای متشکل از مقیاس های هوش هیجانی، هوش معنوی، عمل به اعتقادات مذهبی و سلامت روان پاسخ دادند. عملکرد تحصیلی دانشجومعلمان نیز براساس میانگین نمرات دروس آنان سنجیده شد. یافته های الگو سازی معادلات ساختاری نشان می دهد: هوش معنوی به طور مثبت و معنا دار عملکرد تحصیلی را پیش بینی می کند. علاوه بر این، نقش واسطه ای عمل به اعتقادات مذهبی و سلامت روان در رابطه بین هوش هیجانی و هوش معنوی با عملکرد تحصیلی تأیید شد. بنابراین، می توان نتیجه گیری کرد: با ارتقای هوش هیجانی، هوش معنوی، تقویت روحیه عمل به اعتقادات مذهبی و افزایش سلامت روان می توان عملکرد تحصیلی دانشجومعلمان را بهبود بخشید.
