    Abstract:
The aim of this study was a comparative investigation of the concept of self-actualization and human perfection in the Holy Quran and psychology. The research was conducted using a qualitative method, employing content analysis of texts. The data collection tools included library resources, authentic commentaries and lexical analysis of the Holy Quran, works of prominent psychologists, and recent studies in the field of humanistic and positive psychology. The findings indicate that both approaches emphasize the development of talents, moral virtues, and positive human relationships; however, their fundamental difference lies in the ultimate goal, foundation, and dimensions of self-actualization. Psychology focuses more on individual fulfillment, psychological well-being, and social welfare, while the Quran views perfection in an inseparable connection with God and the attainment of eternal bliss. This distinction demonstrates that the Quranic view of the perfect human being has a horizon beyond contemporary scientific approaches and can serve as an independent and comprehensive framework for understanding and guiding human beings in individual and social spheres. The applications of this research can be seen in cultural policy-making, educational and pedagogical models, and psychotherapy — a model that can both contribute to balanced development in educational systems and provide a spiritual and scientific framework for promoting mental health and social relationships in the fields of psychology and counseling.
