Abstract:
One of the areas in which the concept of mental peace is discussed is the field of religion. The author's attempt is to identify and analyze the effective factors in achieving mental peace from the perspective of the Quran. This research is a qualitative research form and was conducted using the inductive content analysis method with a data coding system. The research findings indicate that 10 components including remembrance of God, being guided to true path, piety, faith-based actions, righteous deeds, acceptance of divine guardianship, submission to God, benefaction, and being interested in the status of martyrdom constitute the effective factors in achieving mental peace from the perspective of the Holy Quran. The methods of remembering God include fulfilling the service of God and doing prayer. The ways to follow the path of guidance include accepting the divine call, holding fast to God, acting on the command of jihad, acting on divine advice, holding on to the divine book, keeping oneself on the divine path, following the divine prophets, treating diseases of the heart, and taking lessons. The ways to attain divine piety include contemplating the enlightening divine verses, paying attention to the signs of divine creation, acting on divine verses and commands, fasting, and following the straight path.
