Abstract:
The purpose of this research is the construction and factor analysis of the "Islamic Marital Satisfaction" scale. Considering that the family is a culture-oriented topic and on the other hand, there was no scale that could be used to measure the behavior and satisfaction of the couple based on Islamic teachings, this research was conducted. According to the purpose, this research is one of the basic research projects and in terms of study, it is "descriptive" of the correlation type and it has used statistical methods such as "exploratory factor analysis" and "internal homogeneity" method. The statistical population was all married people living in Qom who were selected in the "available" way. The results showed: "Islamic Marital Satisfaction" scale has two parts "Skill" and "Personality" and is saturated with nine factors: Sexual communication, negative verbal and non-verbal communication, positive verbal and non-verbal communication, family visits, religious adherence, and financial affairs management with alphas of 0.84, 0.85, 0.77, 0.66, 0.60 and 61. 0.0 and the total alpha is equal to 0.87, there are six factors in the "skill" section, and in the "personality" section of the questionnaire, there are three factors: irritability, pessimism (paranoid), and agreement with alphas of 0.91, 0.88, and 88. 0 and the total alpha of this section was determined to be 0.90. Also, the results indicate the high reliability and validity of the questionnaire with 50 items.
