Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to compile a theoretical model of "combating violence based on Islamic sources" and verifying its validity. In order to achieve this goal, first-hand Islamic sources were referred to, including the Holy Quran (in the form of an examination of the entire text), Nahj al-Balagha, Mizan al-Hikma, related commentaries and some second-hand sources. Concepts related to coping with tension were extracted using the "data base" method and based on that, the primary components of the model were compiled. Quantitative findings showed that the CVI index ranged from 0.88 to 1 and the CVR index ranged from 0.78 to 1. According to the value obtained for these two indicators, it was found that the proposed model for dealing with tension based on Islamic sources has a suitable content validity. Therefore, its component structure and process were approved. Finally, four categories include background conditions (acceptance of the theological, ontological and anthropological foundations of Islam), causal factors (correction of documents and recognition of the features of this world and the hereafter), strategies (internal strengthening strategies, strategies for creating changes in the tension-causing factor), and consequences (giving the correct meaning to stressful events, reducing tensions) were extracted and the manner of each of the components was explained in the form of a process, and based on that, the pattern of "combating tension based on Islamic sources" was drawn in the form of a diagram.
