Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to investigate the predictive role of "identity suspension" in relation to religious attitude with "social rejection" in women-headed households. The research method is applied in terms of purpose, and "descriptive" in terms of correlation type. The statistical population of the research included all women-headed households in Kashmer city (105 people) in 2014-2016. Due to the limited size of the research population, the "census" method was used. The measurement tools included three questionnaires: "identity suspension", "religious attitude" questionnaire, and "social exclusion" questionnaire. Using Pearson's correlation coefficient, data were analyzed. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between religious attitude and identity suspension and social exclusion of women-headed households. In addition, in order to find out how much of the variance of the dependent variable is explained by the causal model presented in the path analysis diagram, the coefficient of determination R was used. Based on the R obtained for all variables, 58% of the total dependent variable changes are explained by the analytical model. Considering the aforementioned results and the importance of women's mental health, especially the special concerns of women-headed households and the possibility of high social disillusionment for this category of women, it is very important to pay attention to psychological-social empowerment, including their religious attitude and identification. Therefore, by improving and correcting the religious attitude and identification of women-headed households, it is possible to take basic steps in reducing the psychological and social problems of this segment of the society.
